Adaptation

Creating conditions for the social adaptation of those living in the dormitory and maintaining a favorable moral and psychological climate

• dealing with personal matters of international students;
• preventing violations of internal regulations, dormitory rules and other local regulations of the SamSMU, as well as the legislation of the Russian Federation by international students;
• fostering respect for the law and the norms of collective life among international students, developing a communication culture an atmosphere of productive cooperation and personal interaction;
• holding general meetings for international students living in the dormitory.

Encouraging participation in sports and cultural events

Assistance in the participation of international students in cultural and sports events organized by the SamSMU and other organizations.

• preservation and development of national traditions of international students, assistance in organizing and holding national holiday celebrations;
• facilitating visits to exhibitions, excursions, concerts, cultural events for international students;
• promotion of intercultural communication, participation of international students in international cultural projects;
• promotion of a healthy lifestyle, participation in sports events.

Medical examination and fingerprinting

Assistance in obtaining the mandatory state fingerprint registration and photographing for international students and medical examination.

In accordance with Federal Law No. 274-FZ dated 1 July, 2021 «On Amendments to the Federal Law «On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation» and the Federal Law «On State Fingerprint Registration in the Russian Federation» foreign citizens who entered the Russian Federation after 29 December 2021, within 90 days from the date of entry, are subject to mandatory state fingerprint registration, photographing, and medical examination.

The procedure for passing a medical examination and fingerprinting:

• Immediately after entering the Russian Federation, register for migration (registration).
• Undergo a medical examination at the following address: Samara, Chernogorskaya str., building 2, floor 3.
• After 5 days, receive a medical examination certificate.
• After receiving the medical examination certificate, undergo fingerprint registration at 13a Kabelnaya str.
• Get a fingerprint card (once).
• Upon expiration of the validity period of the medical examination certificate (one year), undergo a medical examination and submit the results to the fingerprinting office at 13a Kabelnaya str.
