Visa Invitation Letter

An invitation to enter the Russian Federation is a document that serves as the basis for issuing a single-entry visa giving a foreign citizen the right to enter the Russian Federation for a period of no more than 90 days.

After the student successfully passes entrance exams and is admitted to the SamSMU (and the Order for admission to the SamSMU has been issued), the student or their legal representative must submit an application addressed to the rector of the SamSMU with a request for an invitation and is obliged to leave the territory of the Russian Federation for the invitation and the single-entry study visa (for the period 90 days) to be processed.

For the Invitation for a student or their legal representative to be issued, it is necessary:

1. to fill out an application (legibly) for an Invitation addressed to the rector of SamSMU, fill in the date and sign it;

2. submit the application to the Department of International Relations (in person), or send by e-mail to inter@samsmu.ru the following documents:

• the completed invitation application form
• a copy of the last visa (if any), or a translated copy of the passport
• a copy of the first two passport pages (the passport expiration date must be at least 6 months later than the expected date of visa expiration).
